Virtual St. Joseph Altar is Open!

Determined not to miss it this year, I put myself on their mailing list.

Dear Friends of St. Joseph,

In the tradition of the Sicilian St. Joseph Altars of New Orleans, the
Virtual St. Joseph Altar made its online debut in February of 1999. The
number of visitors grows each year. Last year was the biggest yet with almost
200 offerings and over 9,000 visitors.

The Altar is now open for the March 19, 2006 Feast of St. Joseph.

Visit http://www.thankevann.com/stjoseph and follow the links to make your
virtual offering and add deceased loved ones to the prayer list.

While you are there, be sure to visit the rest of the site. General prayer
requests and comments on the Altar can be posted to the message board:

There's a lot of people out there who would be thrilled with your old baby things. Try contacting a local shelter for domestic violence victims, or a local homeless shelter. They often have women in desperate need of baby items. Your family and friends might not appreciate them, but a poor mother with nothing will think they are treasures!
