Hi Rue,
I found your log by looking for info on fluorite… but stayed to read almost all of it, it is very nice that you tell about your own experience, not just retell things you only found in books
.
Keep doing the great work.Blessed Greetings,

Hi Rue! I couldn’t believe when I saw you are part croatian. I’m from Croatia. I was looking for some sites concerning the evil eye and found yours. Great info! Anyway, if you find the time could you please e-mail me? I have some questions regarding what I have read here. I wanted to write to you, but there was no e-mail listed.
Keep up the good work!on 08/14 at 05:25 PM -
My 17 year old son found your site and I was totally engrossed! Your section on Spiritual Health helped me to understand my own situation completely. I am a carer to a physically disabled husband (who is also a medium) and a mentally/physically disabled 21 year old son. Both drain my energy completely and I am now looking for a Black Tourmaline stone to use for protection. I have also now understood why although I “do” witchcraft, I have never felt the need for “worship” like the Wicca religion. Thank you for your help

I can’t understand why I never found your site before, I go all over! This is wonderful.... and the work you have done here!! How very good you are! No joke either....

Hey There,
I’m not sure how I ended up visiting your corner of the web-world, but I’m pleased that I did. It pleases me to see someone who is so passionate and so informed about her craft...oddly enough, this is rare lately. Keep up the excellent work.

Brilliant website. I enjoy the straight forward articles that haven’t been fluffed with fairy dust to the point of seeming cartoonish. Keep up the excellent work as it will surely become one of the best “witch” sites on the web.

Wow, this is a really great site! I have to say it is one of the best I have ever seen!

Thank you for your insight and views on italian witchcraft. I am a second generation italian/irish american witch, and have felt strong ties particularly to my italian background as a source or spiritual strength. It is refreshing and reassuring, that there are others out there who have been brought up with some old world customs and integrate them into their spell craft.
Thanks again~on 11/17 at 11:38 PM -
Hey, just stopping by to check your site out from Funkalicious, and wanted to say ‘hi’. I don’t know a lot about witchcraft although I have friends that are witches or Wiccan. I’ve never tried any spellcasting on my own, although I’ve thought about it. I think I’m too clueless to try anything like that yet. LOL… Anyhow, I like your site.
felinevamp on 11/22 at 12:34 PM -
Hey,
I’ve been researching Italian Witchcraft for a year now. My Mom’s family is from Naples, and the woman in my family have passed down a prayer to their daughters. We have since translated the prayer into English. It helps children who have been overly complimented. You touched upon it on your site. It was nice to see a little validation in your site about us.
Thanks.... BBon 12/07 at 10:28 AM -
Very nice Rue. Especially the stand-out colors.

Hello Rue!
Thank you so much for putting together this site. I was amazed when I came across it. My own Sicilian grandmother would break the evil eye for anyone in the family with a bad headache and the blues by using a bowl of water, olive oil, salt, and making the sign of the cross. I had forgotten about the needles, but I remember her using those before too! I always wanted to learn this, but I was under the impression it could only be taught from mother to daughter on Christmas Eve at midnight (I am a male). My own mother never believed in any of it, nor that my grandmother could see ghosts. My grandmother is alive, but much older now and stll up in Boston, MA. I feel awkward asking her about it all. Little does she know that I myself have studied espiritismo and am initiated in Santeria. There are many similarities. I honor my ancestors and am also interested in ancient paganism, as well as Catholic folk religion. I agree with you about the Wiccan “Strega"… I read about that, but it just never felt right to me. I really don’t think it is authentic, but I hesitate to judge. Anyways, feel free to e-mail me if you have time. I am planning in the next few years to visit Sicily, “Persephone’s Island”. I am especially interested in our ancestral town, the old churches, and the ancient Greek temple ruins.
Thanks!

Dear Rue,
My Godfather and I strongly believe we are
victoms of the malocchio. He is Sicilian
and believes the curse can only be lifted by a Sicilian woman. Do you know any Sicilian women who could help us in Los Angeles?
Respectfully,

I ran into your site and absolutely love it. I don’t really have any expierence with magic and the religion,i guess you would say, but I am VERY interested and would love to learn more. If you have any ideas for books I can read to do research and what not, please email me and let me know. I am a young girl in search of her path, and I feel this could be a good one...thanx

I am thrilled to have stumbled across your site. I know there is much here that I can learn and I already have started doing just that. I appreciate your insight. I am disturbed by having been misled by others in the recent past, (I believe you mentioned them on your home page), but that is water under the bridge now. Because of my intuition and gut feelings, I couldn’t give up on my search. I have finally gotten to the truth of this matter and chose to look forward and replace the lies I’ve been told, with accurate and nonmisleading information instead. Rue’s Kitchen is a start.
Thank you very much for providing such a wonderful site!!!

My Grandmother had taken me to one of these rituals, when I was approx. 5 years old, a woman that she had worked with had a bad headache, and she met us at this old Italian lady’s home........she used olive oil, water, burnt a rag..........and said a bunch of words over her, etc. It was a little scary for a 5 year old to see, I am now 52...................I think that someone has put a curse on myself and my fiancee.......I am 1/2 Sicilian.....can I do the ceremony for myself and my fiancee?
Just curious....I tried it on myself.......Love your site, and it has backed up, what I have seen, when I was a little girl.
Thanks, Maryon 11/03 at 03:06 PM -

Hello Rue,
Thanks for all of your suggestions.........I froze names in the freezer in a container........sprinkled salt all around the outside of the house, without breaking the circle..........and it seems to be working...........
The problem is, no matter what we do, we are having a hard time getting money........it use to be so easy before........It’s like we have a curse on us.....to be held down......Is there something we could do, the get money coming in now?????????? People just don’t want to pay us, when we do work for them.......It’s almost crazy....they act like we owe them?????on 12/26 at 11:48 AM -
Gps: Thank you for signing my Guestbook. Sorry, I can’t help you as I am not Wiccan.I will email you with a reference in a moment.
~*~*~*~Hello Mary,
Thank you for signing my Guestbook. Keep doing what you are doing magically and be confident and assertive that you deserve payment for work done. Sometimes when one is ‘grateful’ for finding work they give off a vibe that the other person is doing them a favour. Also, the Novena to Saint Joseph is very appropriate for your situation. “This novena has proven to be highly efficacious. It seems to be pleasing to St. Joseph and helpful to souls.”

Hi Rue,
I found this looking for Italian rituals. My
Grandmother was called a witch - she was from
Benevento. I wish I learned more traditions
from her.
