Patrizio

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I was born in the Connecticut and grew up in Montreal, two locations with a very big St. Patrick culture. It is not uncommon for Italians living in New England to invoke San Patrizio in their protection rituals, especially in Irish-Italian families. Where Saint Michael protects us in battle against supernatural evil, Saint Patrick is invoked when battling against the day-to-day man-against-man evil.

Oh, and I love him because I am terrified of snakes. *shudder*

There's a lot of people out there who would be thrilled with your old baby things. Try contacting a local shelter for domestic violence victims, or a local homeless shelter. They often have women in desperate need of baby items. Your family and friends might not appreciate them, but a poor mother with nothing will think they are treasures!
