...burning incense to mask reality's stench since 1986.

I'd like to thank my handsome, brilliant and devoted husband for the super job he did on the Pocus! makeover. I liked the old look but it was time for a change. Also, I have another project in the works that will require saintly decor.
Classes started up today. I don't teach on Mondays, so I got to attend orientation. The most heart warming thing is walking into a full auditorium and having students wave and call out hello. Half of them weren't even in my classes last term! Now THAT is cool.
It's really late and I need my beauty sleep.
Have a great day!

I'm freeing up space for the new year of course. Although there are 3 categories that are central to my site and therefore will remain intact.
I must confide to you that one individual was self-absorbed enough to send me email implying I was scaling down my blog because I was paranoid and hiding... from them! What a maroon.
I thought I'd give them a thrill and write about them. Especially since they don't have the coglioni to post a comment on my blog so instead they send me lame-mail*.
*lame-mail: too mean to be fan mail but too dim and insipid to be hate mail.

“A philosopher once wrote you need three things to have a good life. One, a meaningful relationship, two, a decent job of work, and three, to make a difference. And it was always that third one that stressed me, to make a difference. And I realise that I do. Every day, we all do. It’s how we interact, with our fellow man.”
